On the other day, I saw blueberries on sale, so I took one pack instantly. Then I realized that even though I often eat blueberry muffins, I never made one by myself. So I decided to bake one.
If I describe these muffins, they were the combination of scones on the top and pancakes inside. Since I put less sugar as usual, I could taste natural sweetness of blueberry with a bit of sourness.
No it is high time for asparagus. In the supermarket where we often go, there were 1 kg of bundled asparagus on sale. Even though it was still expensive, if I didn’t buy it at discount, I thought I would not buy it at the normal price any time soon. So I took one bundle and continued shopping. Then we saw baskets, which contained older vegetables at a significant reduction in prices. There were one bundle of asparagus. These “older vegetables” didn’t look bad at all and I could still see the freshness inside the vegetables. So we decided to take these instead.
We haven’t had asparagus for a long time (mainly because the price is always high for asparagus in Switzerland), I was very happy to cook something with it. The first dish was simple: boiled asparagus with mayonnaise. The second one was bacon asparagus. The third was gnocchi with asparagus cream sauce.
One day, I saw the billboard for Blausee at the Solothurn station.
So my husband and I decided to go there spontaneously. Fortunately it was during the off-season so there were not so many people at the lake. Plus, it was a beautiful sunny day. The lake was literally blue and there were many trouts swimming and they seemed to be relaxed. Well, I am still hesitated to show the picture of the trout that I ate..but here it is. We also had a dessert. This was recommended by the gentleman working there.
